Innovative Strategies for Fashion Curating in the Context of Interdisciplinary Integration

This Under the backdrop of globalization and digitalization, fashion curating is transitioning from singular cultural displays to interdisciplinary innovative practices. This paper constructs a "Motivation-Ability-Prompt" (MAP) analytical framework based on the Fogg Behavior Model (FBM), exploring pathways to optimize curating strategies through audience behavioral data, thereby driving the transformation of fashion curating into immersive and participatory experiences. The study reveals that modern fashion curating has transcended traditional boundaries, forming three main threads: museum exhibitions, commercial narratives, and "Fashion + X" cross-disciplinary practices, integrating cultural critique and technological experimentation. By deconstructing audience behaviors, the core elements—motivation (emotional resonance, social incentives), ability (lowering technical barriers), and prompt (spatial guidance design)—are identified, and a curating optimization formula (CO-Score) is established to quantitatively assess communication effects and public acceptance. The paper proposes a tripartite "Humanities-Business-Science" integrated innovation paradigm: humanities focus on constructing cultural narrative depth through humanistic research; science reshapes experiential logic via biomaterials and metaverse technologies; and business leverages data intelligence to optimize communication and commercial models. At the practical level, interdisciplinary methods are advocated, including problem-driven curating motives, discourse construction through knowledge topology, mixed-reality spatial practices, and ecological integration of local culture with technological innovation, forming a "culture-technology- industry" closed loop. This positions fashion curating as a public laboratory for social innovation.
