Abstract

In recent years, with the acceleration of social aging and the improvement of the healthcare system, the demand for end-of-life care has been steadily increasing. How to provide more humanized and emotionally supportive services in palliative care has become an urgent issue that needs to be addressed. To this end, this paper combines the core principles of palliative care with emotional design methods, focusing on the emotional design of a vital signs monitoring product. The aim is to develop an innovative vital signs monitoring product that not only alleviates patients' psychological stress and preserves their dignity, but also promotes emotional communication, thereby providing new tools and support for the implementation of palliative care.
