In the long history of human civilization, fashion has never been merely an aesthetic expression, but also an important carrier of technological progress and social civilization. As we walk into the year 2025, standing at the intersection of a new round of technological revolution and industrial change, the fashion industry is undergoing unprecedented and profound changes. The integration of smart materials, digital technology, artificial intelligence and the concept of sustainable development is redefining the connotation and extension of fashion.

It is in this context that Fashion Technology, founded by the World Eco-Design Organization (WEDO), an international organization with special consultative status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations, was born. As an international academic journal focusing on the intersection of fashion and technology, we are committed to building a high-level academic exchange platform for researchers, designers and engineers around the world, and to promoting theoretical innovation and practical development in the field of fashion technology.
